If the intention is friendly, why should one dislike it? If a Muslim wishes me Eid Mubarak, it would be silly to get offended. If I'd go and complain in public, I'd be ostracized, rightfully. Likewise, if I wish someone Merry Christmas: take it as a friendly gesture.
