Moore may have been a uniquely flawed candidate, but the national GOP has also shown that it has nothing to offer to the paradigmatic "downscale" Trump swing voters of 2016, and shouldn't be surprised when its electoral coalition frays accordingly

No. A corporate Republican would enact TPP. Plus would be too afraid to do 'Muslim' or whatever it's called now ban. Also afraid to push for the 'wall'. Though, odd such lack of legislation via Congress since GOP owns both Exec & Legislative Branches.

A congress under most any other GOP president would have been getting legislation passed pretty easily as they'd be in favor of the same globalist agenda. It's sort of a positive that they at least haven't done much anything.

The so-called movement conservatives and Chamber of Commerce wing deliberately sabotaged the Alabama Senate race by staying home or flipping. They are bitter, and they wanted to show populists ,"who's boss". Instead, they only deepened the divide.
