      1) That escalating hostilities with Russia is "in the interest of the US" is a subjective and contested opinion, not some statement of objective fact 2) Notice how opposing sanctions is now seen as tantamount to "aiding and abetting a hostile foreign state" (i.e., treason)pic.twitter.com/OUgpoCl7Mt

There are plenty of good-faith, reasonable, non-treasonous arguments against sanctions (whether on Russia, Iran, etc.) that are grounded in *furthering* US national interest. Did the Iraq sanctions in the 1990s turn out to be in the US national interest?

Remember when it was generally frowned upon to cast reasonable policy differences (re: sanctions, war, diplomatic issues) as treason? Seems so quaint now.

That all changed after 9/11. Funny how the Democrat hawks who have a war boner for WWIII sound just like Bush and the Republicans in 2002. "You're either with us, or your with the Russians!"

I said this about corps & tax reform, applies here. —They can’t win on an honest argument about why they want to do this. Have to create bigger, scarier enemies. Many sides of our political spectrum are becoming (national) security cultists.

A year ago this collusion business was about conspiring w/ Russia to break into the DNC email server. Now collusion means anything, even post-election meetings w/ diplomats that were perfectly legal. Goalposts haven't just been moved; they've been carted off the field.

idk how to properly construct this whether as a question or as a fact, but seems we keep on pulling on Russia's tail, either thru agitating in Black Sea by NK or w/Syria or the MSM's erroneous reporting. So much for repairing fences.

This foreign policy discussion seems premised on the assumption that Trump, Flynn, Kushner, et al. were acting in good faith, which seems, ya know, not true

I mean you're ONLY promoting the idea America should take a back seat geopolitically and allow a far more brutal nation dolling dollars to you to step into the power vacuum, why are people accusing you of treason?
