In the case I believe you are referring to I bet most have people concluded that there is no chance of convincing the spectic, as his paycheck depends on his not being convinced.

I have no idea what would be the grounds for drawing that conclusion.

Media unions, like teachers' unions, reward mediocrity and feather-bedding.

Did you think social media was platform for rational discussion and debate, not just a way to dispense information and advertising in bulk while maintaining a veneer of social interaction?

This isn't about "convincing arguments". There is no skepticism here. This is an anti Union reporter. Period. There is no "changing his mind". He should rightfully have the social mob released on him.

And presenting social media mobs with convincing arguments rather than cynical, passive aggressive subtweets, might also be better. Who's to say, though?

I think: if he’s a “1” in scale of 1 to 10 in union support. Leave him alone. Move on seeking majority. Don’t need to risk him escalating, sabotaging or having a martyr narrative. Retain public support.

A Union is won on issues and taking the fight to management to address those issues. Everything else is a waste of time.

Skeptics on media unions? Yeah they're being paid. You don't oppose something like that because you're skeptical. It's like being skeptical of gravity.

Think for themselves? Ha! The union "brothers & sisters" are a mob.
