No sympathy for them, but guys getting fired from pizza chains and supermarkets jobs for attending a political rally is a little unnervingpic.twitter.com/YcFMWa2J0R

I've read your tweets and can't find the serious question. You think it's a bad thing employers have the right to disassociate from Nazis?
The serious question is whether employers ought to be able to terminate employees at-will for engaging in political speech off-hours.
Most employers are able to fire you for pretty much anything. I'd say "being a Nazi" is pretty good cause.
For instance, Q: Is it okay to fire them if their free speech includes hate that incites prejudice or violence? A: Yes
Unless you're a member of a specifically-protected class, your employer can fire you for any reason. Even then, you need proof.
Why would a company want 2 expose its other employees and/or customers 2 an white supremacist? Ppl r expected 2 rep company values....
You are in fact making that exact argument
No, it does not. This is a bad example to raise that rather venerable question.
If this is the first existential crisis you've had in relation to employer/employee dynamic, I suggest you google "wage slavery".
If your boss fired you because you like Glen Beck on off hours, you have a beef.
Blather
So you’re JAQing off?
I find it amazing how the 1st amendment and freedom in general is somehow suspended when Far-Righties or Nazi's are involved
She who signs the paycheck has the power. FWIW
The employee has never had the power to make a boss that did not like them on any level keep them, NOTICE given pack your shit
I don't know your employment laws but there has to be some freedom to do what you want in your own time but where "gross misconduct"
can be grounds for dismissal. If you feel aggrieved there should be a mediation process, Union support.
This impasse reflects our neglecting 2 primarily define our terms. @mtracey sees "Nazi Ideology" as a POV, but NOT inherently criminal.
