No sympathy for them, but guys getting fired from pizza chains and supermarkets jobs for attending a political rally is a little unnervingpic.twitter.com/YcFMWa2J0R

perhaps you should read about the weapons caches found in #Charolettesville and rethink the purpose of this "rally"
Ought all the employees of a company that has supported a cause they abhor be "allowed" to quit en masse, mid-shift?
It was not a political rally. It was a Neo-Nazi, White Supremisist recruitment rally by Duke and Spencer. TWO totally different concepts
"Political rallies" are not held with torches, bats, knives, poles, handguns, and rifles, with weapons caches all over town, homie.
They weren't fired for attending a political rally, maybe shouting slogans. They were fired for acts intended to harass and terrify people.
I'm not going to spend my money at a place where I know they employ people who won't be welcoming to people because of the skin tone.
If you sign an employer's contract or an acceptance of hiring terms(policy employee handbook) then...you have no power..remove that word
You have accepted their terms and surrendered your power to do what you want.
I disagree. It was a gathering to strike fear and a "show of force" to further intimidate... it was terroristic in nature and purpose
It was to say "don't mess with white privilege and pride by removing our idols"
as an employer I have a right to not hire, or fire, violent, inappropriate staff that make location hostile or unsafe
as a costumer I have the right to feel valued and safe
as a colleague I have a right& expectation to feel safe, free from racism & misogyny, & protected by my employers
U white though....So I can see why u r trying to intellectualize this....Good luck.
Correction..the ones with the PERMIT were engaged in a political rally...the others were there for malicious reasons..and illegally #TheLaw
