Again, they clearly engaged in repugnant speech, but this raises complicated questions about the employer/employee power dynamic.

People are suggesting that this wasn't a "political rally." Yes it was. Plenty of political rallies are held to advance repugnant causes.
-
Such terminations are permitted under the "at will" doctrine but... organized labor hates that doctrine, for giving employers the upper hand
-
Point being: these terminations would've been harder to impose had stronger employment protections been in place. That's the tension.

Not saying that it wasn't legally permissible to fire them, just that it raises serious questions about the employer/employee power dynamic.

Doesn't make them any less of a "political group." They're advancing a political agenda that's repugnant, but political nonetheless.
-
They're not advancing a "political agenda." They're advancing an ideology of exterminating minorities & the disabled. Period.

1. "political rally" vastly misleads. Try "racist mob" 2. If you were not white, would you want them serving you food? 3. Fuck Nazis.
-
It was a political rally, even if the purpose of the rally was repugnant. Not a matter of what I want, but employer/employee power dynamic.
