The amount of self-delusion and blame-shifting about the nature of the HRC email investigation -- even months later -- continues to amaze.

Both Trump campaign & Clinton were under FBI investigation but FBI only made one investigation public. That's an obvious problem.

Nature of the investigations wildly different. HRC was under personal felony investigation, per FBI docs. Unclear if same is true of Trump.

Should've been up to voters, not Comey, to decided which investigation was bigger deal. He choose to release only on one campaign.

"If you reveal info on one candidate, you must also reveal info on the other" is an arbitrary standard, ignores differences in circumstances

It's absolutely arbitrary because "fairness to voters" is not a practicable legal standard.

It's also a form of literal "false equivalence" because it wrongly equates the two investigations when they were radically different.
