Sanders had successfully avoided falling into the same bleating Russia hysteria that has made Dems look so ridiculous. What happened?pic.twitter.com/fKlx9I7IUf

is your position that this issue doesn't warrant a congressional investigation at this point, then?
Not on principle opposed to investigation, but I'm 100% sure that it'll be a complete circus
Is there evidence that Dems squawking conspiracy theories about Russia hurts Trump w/GOP base?
@mtracey
eh, I just think the questions around Russia & Trump intensified & became more creditable after Flynn resigning.
As the one communist in the race, maybe he's just acting out as a jealous mistress.
they wanted him to legitimise russia narrative & he got something in return. Schumer meetings this week could be where it happened.
it could just be politics, as long as the trump administration is forced to talk about russia, they cannot confirm more nominees ..
Sounds about right
@ChuckRoss33 likely true. Also they want to make resistance to the anti Russia General Line look like kookery.
Or maybe he just actually believes this? He's accepted the Russia-meddling-in-our-election conclusion for months now.
here's a strange idea, maybe it's a legitimate concern given the mounting evidence/failure to disclose financial entanglements
My guess: as usual, they're projecting.
Given Dems have decided to scapegoat him for public anger at them, probably disarming corporocrats of "pro-Putin" accusations.
you don't see any value in investigating it, even if only to set it to rest?
this is nothing new; has been going on for months, in fact wasn't there a Wikileaks specifically detailing this strategy?
Most plausible guess. It demonstrates that Sanders is not above politicking, he values his position/party above national interests.
fear he is one of their chess pieces first -people's second- but we shall see.
