There is no voter ID requirement in PA or MI. In WI, it would not have affected the margin, according to officials.https://twitter.com/mtracey/status/800717856111558657 …

It's true that there is a Voter ID requirement in VA, a state Hillary won. Otherwise this had no tangible effect on the outcome either way.
-
Dwelling on "voter suppression" (which is usually ill-defined) is a deflection from the real reason Hillary lost: uniquely poor candidate.
-
I generally oppose Voter ID laws, but blaming them for HRC's loss is just another attempt to scapegoat. It has no basis in fact.
-
"Voter suppression" doesn't account for why rural turnout surged in the midwest/northeast. Acknowledge reality or you will keep failing.

it's also wrong to think every vote lost due to voter ID laws was 'suppression' and not voter fraud

I always help folks register & get Voter IDs in WI. Got 16 new voters for Bernie in Primary. NONE voted Hillary. Not one.

he also didn't lose "massively". Dem bastions like CA (4M+ votes diff) & NY (2M+ diff) votes were expected. And 47% didn't vote.
