The reason Trump's various "scandals" didn't cut through to the electorate is because the media spent 1.5 years in hysterical meltdown mode.

So people either tuned out anti-Trump coverage completely, or just assumed it was all bogus. Another reason to blame the media for Trump.

@mtracey Hell, I assume EVERYTHING coming out of the media is bogus these days. Much easier.

@mtracey It was also Hillary's actual crimes, corruption, and lies.

@mtracey @cnn CNN is doubling down on this, suggesting they should have "ignored trump more." In short, they don't know how NOT to control.

@mtracey everything they report HAS to have some kind of Soros-compatible narrative. "Clinton News Network" was an obvious tell.

@mtracey Also, comparatively- his shenanigans were nothing compared to actual crimes

@mtracey I blame 75% of Trump's presidency on the media and its coverage of this election

@mtracey I was against Trump, but watched a rally out of interest. When I saw the CNN characterization of the speech, my jaw hit the floor.

@mtracey Or people considered them nothingburgers compared to Hillary's actual crimes and ethical violations, which paled in comparison.
