You can make an argument that HRC is the one who's benefited from media malfeasance: little scrutiny of Foundation practices during primary

If that vast web of unethical maneuverings and sleazy dealmaking had been scrupulously litigated during the primary, she may have lost.

Of course, this is partly Bernie's fault: media takes cues from the candidates, and he declined to air Foundation liabilities till too late.

He should have raised the issue (as well as "the emails") -- Clinton loyalists were going to blame him no matter what, as we're seeing now.

Still, HRC skated by with remarkably deferential coverage during the primary (with some exceptions) relative to the sleaze she embodies.

What’s crazy is media *did* do lengthy investigations on Clinton Foundation in 2015, but chose not to bring up during primaries.

Bernie's fault. Especially with Peter Schweitzer's book of pay to play examples out. Also emails only came an issue again in July.

No scrutiny perhaps, but that it was bad/corrupt was kind of accepted w/out evidence. Pattern's more hit Clinton, prop up Trump.

but that behavior is malfeasance. Didn't mean to make it personal just pointing out that that behavior is problematic

Class alone doesn't win you a presidency. Ask Michael Dukakis and Kerry who refused to respond to attacks. Losers!

You could make that argument, sure. You could also argue the Earth is flat, the moon is cheese and Trump is not a bigot.
