seems obvious the only meetings worth mentioning are discretionary. It is a word choice issue IMO.

seems reasonable to meet with people who support your Foundation btw. The redaction by the press under pressure not so much.

I don't think it's okay to meet people you wouldn't have because of Foundation donations. But the story is reaching.

right this implies she wouldn't have met them otherwise. The fact is she probably likes them which is why they are friends :-)
