So if you had a team of NSA analysts working on it for a year, they could under no circumstances recover them?

I thought NSA gathered every key stroke of every American so wouldn't they have clean copies?

It's unlikely they tunnel into every machine; just ones they target.

I'm sure they've done it well. The issue is: if the recovered files are classified, they can not report nor press charges.
