Instead of unthinkingly embracing their support, Dems would do well to ponder why all the most virulent "natsec" hawks are rushing to HRC.

If Trump is so self-evidently a profound danger, why are all the most dangerous apparatchiks of the past 15 years flocking to his opponent?

It may well be that Trump is ultimately the greater danger. But you have to account for why such dangerous actors are so comfortable w/ HRC.

I think eventually. But the immediate motivation is predictability. Without it no one gets rich.

Trump is wildcard. Hillary is guaranteed beltway banditry and bureaucratic CYA. #JohnsonWeld2016 provides some reformist hope.

What is more cruel: not letting Muslims immigrate to the US or bombing them in their countries?

Bombing them. Most of them immigrate reluctantly, not necessarily happily.

Money brotha, its not that difficult to understand. Clinton keeps the status quo, even for elite Repubs. They know what they getn.

Trump, like HRC, is bellicose, but Trump's not strategic, pays little heed to natsec web of alliances -- and he's a racist hothead.

With Trump, there's no ideology that natsec folks can count on. Their positions wouldn't be as stable as w/ bipartisan natsec state
