Why didn't the *explicit* interference by a foreign leader in the 2012 election (Netanyahu for Romney) provoke anywhere near as much fury?
It was nothing like the bipartisan meltdown we are now seeing

He got a LOT of push back. And of course it wasn't bipartisan. The GOP thought it would help them win a constituency here.
