Twitter appearing to arbitrarily ban people does have "free speech" implications even if the government isn't the one doing the banning.

Twitter is a public platform on which users broadcast speech. Denying people that platform is a "free speech" issue.

It may not have immediate legal implications but it does undermine the underlying social value, which should concern us all.
