Don't believe a Syria withdrawal will actually happen until it happens. The bureaucratic maneuvering to leave "residual" forces was already underway the moment Trump announced the order. Most likely, he'll accede to whatever his underlings demand. That's what happened last time

This exactly *why* Trump had to pull the troops back with zero warning. As soon as he tries to give warning, he is immediately undermined.

Early on he failed to release the JFK documents as promised, which proves who is actually in charge. They killed JFK and he knows he will get the same if he doesn't stay in his lane.

Without mincing words, what is clear is that the dynamic in that region of the world has changed from stalemate and inevitable war to negotiation. One step closer to possible peace. That was all this President. He didn’t like how it was going and made a decision. No underling.

He knows nothing, so he's easily deceived. They want the oil fields for money & hope that by having them they'll freeze out the rest of Syria, thereby fulfilling regime chang. Israel wants Golan Heights. The Saudis want to destroy the last secular state for their caliphate.#greed

Perhaps, but day late and dollar short- Syrian army appears to have been flooding into the area w/ support of Kurds, who know it's essential to get SAA troops into as much of the buffer zone as possible, as it's only way to prevent Turks from ethnically cleansing the area.

We are just as likely to withdraw from Syria as the UK is to withdraw from the EU. The inertia of globalism is impossible to stop with incremental tugs.
