Having a heart attack in the middle of a presidential campaign at age 78 is really not good. I like Bernie, voted for him in 2016, would probably vote for him again. But... let's acknowledge what just happened here

Fair points on both sides I think... They can roll him around in a hospital bed as he campaigns in a coma for all I care...I'll still vote for him over any of these other neocon dem corporate shills (except Tulsi)...or the Cheetoh...

You’d better hope he has a young, healthy VP. He’s almost 80 and just had a heart attack. Haven’t you guys read about the toll being POTUS takes on even a young, healthy person? It’s a 24 hour a day job—hardly the life of a 9 to 5 desk jockey. The stress is incredible.

For what it’s worth Vegas doesn’t have as good hospitals as other large cities. Glad he is OK. He has more energy than I do and I am 20 years younger

He must keep going even if it kills him! What’s one pithy heart attack?

Honestly I think he will be fine, if he decreased the amount of ralleys, to the level his doctor recommends and he likely is prescribed some anti coagulant drugs and since he does not have a previous history of any cardiovascular issues I'd stay stopping would also do him no good
-
Since if he just stops and just does nothing but rest it could cause a reaction with his heart and leave him hyportensive since this is not a usual thing that is common with him

‘Because I can distinguish between my personal support for him and an acknowledgment of the severity of this episode in the context of a contested presidential campaign.” Wasn’t attributing anything to

the only reason it might end up being “not good” for his campaign is bc the media is going to fall over themselves trying to build that perception. i’m a hc provider, i can tell you that a heart attack alone is no reason to think he can’t serve.

Tell Bernie to pick
@IlhanMN as his running mate. Not only will it make the right wing of both parties' heads explode, it'll give Bernie a young leftist backup just in case. But I don't know if the law would allow that-do you have to be a natural born American to be VP?Thanks. Twitter will use this to make your timeline better. UndoUndo

not to leave others out but along with someone like
@BeauTFC ...@KyleKulinski you are one of the people I respect the most ... but I have to call it like i see it ... I see a bit of an over-reaction here ...even if Bernie isn't my #1 pick, I love Bernie and hope he gets well - 2 more replies
