Having a heart attack in the middle of a presidential campaign at age 78 is really not good. I like Bernie, voted for him in 2016, would probably vote for him again. But... let's acknowledge what just happened here

Ok. It’s acknowledged. Now what? I still support him. I don’t get your concern troll. People will make of it what they will and that’s the end of it

How is this a “concern troll”? He had a heart attack as confirmed by his own campaign. So it should be acknowledged honestly rather than spun. I’m not saying anyone needs to alter their voting preference. As I said in the tweet, I will probably vote for him regardless.

It's a concern troll because of the lines "is really not good" and "lets acknowledge what just happened here" -- if you're going to hold it against him, say that. If you're not but you think other people will, say that.

It's really not good for him politically because it will make people question whether he is physically equipped to run for president, and that's not an ill-founded concern given the fact that he had a heart attack.

Right. So you think other people will hold it against him. And you think that's not unreasonable. Got it. Could've saved us the melodrama about how much you support him.

Because I can distinguish between my personal support for him and an acknowledgment of the severity of this episode in the context of a contested presidential campaign. Sorry if you find that "melodramatic."

I do. Heart attacks = bad. That he now has stents and is better = good. Everything else is just noise and (annoying) speculation.

OK. I hope he fully recovers and the political effects in terms of perception aren't severe, because I would like to vote for him.

The procedure was routine and low risk. But I'm sure Trumpets will overblow it as they always do. That's just kinda their way.

like I said above, I'm not blinded, and if Bernie has to drop out, he will, and we'll have to accept it. But the scenario I most imagine happening is his coming back yelling louder & fighting stronger than before, and with more solid support too. only time will tell

If he can walk out of the hospital a couple of days after having stents put in, it was a minor MI. Given the fact that he did not require an emergency ambulance and EMT team, he should be fine.

It was only a single vessel disease. If it was a serious concern more vessels would be blocked requiring more stents or even surgery. Some MI’s are reversible. https://www.ahajournals.org/doi/pdf/10.1161/01.CIR.70.1.149 …

There's more support for him post heart complications. Many people donated and media outlets actually covered him.

Hey Michael, I like watching your videos. I agree with Kyle on this one. Like, why even tweet that? What does it accomplish? Just because what you tweeted was true, then what? Let's start a discussion about it further? I mean, Bernie will either drop out, or he won't..right?

Even if 5% of his current supporters decide they don’t want a nominee who’s going to croak before the general, that spells death for Bernie’s campaign. Anyone who thinks Tracey’s wrong here is stupidly blinded by wanting Bernie to win.
