Sending huge amounts of lethal arms to Ukraine (missile systems, grenade launchers, sniper rifles) -- thereby fueling a Cold War-style proxy conflict with Russia -- is now firmly entrenched in the glorious realm of "bipartisan consensus." Great!https://spectator.us/aid-sending-ukraine/ …

There was already a Cold War-style proxy conflict long before this. You're just too naive to realize that Russia has been itching for that kind of thing for years now.

"fueling" vs encouraging them to surrender to Russia? (Since Russia has more than enough arms already, it would seem that an embargo can only hurt one country)

Rhetoric of Russia's supposed occupation of Crimea without a word of the missile defense systems and NATO at their borders qualifies one for WH press corps.

I honestly don't see what the fuss is about. IIRC the last shipment of missiles you guys sent them was delivered with a strong condition of *never bringing the equipment even close to the frontline, let alone daring to use it*. So this is essentially just MIC scamming your govt.

Just don't know what the answer is on how to deal with Russia. The red reset button certainly didn't work, it was a valiant try but taken as a very naive gesture

absolutely great. Ukraine should be able defend itself. US and UK GUARANTEED it's territorial integrity in exchange to its nukes! And Obama did shit nothing while Ukraine was literally bleeding almost to death

Now even daring to re-examine sending lethal arms to Ukraine is framed by the corrupt media as somehow impeach able acts. Gotta love how the narrative always pushes in the direction of endless war. 🙄
