I honestly wish Bernie all the best health-wise but it would be nice to know if he had a heart attack. The descriptions of what happened aren't exactly clear.

You need the EKG and blood work results to know, but it is very likely. Also, it's not known if he has had previous events such as this. Surely, exhaustion & maybe dehydration compounded the problem.

Not your job to judge anyway. Your a columnist not a judge. He doesn't owe anyone a play by play of exactly what happened with his personal health. He doesn't owe you or any of us that!

Same symptoms and sounds like same procedure my mom had. Ended up being a mild heart attack. The physician performing the stent insertions notified me immediately after performing it.

As someone who has worked in a Cath Lab, in order to have stents put in, like Bernie, you hv to hv a certain amount of blockage. I’m 99% sure he had a heart attack, but should be doing better here soon. He will be better than b4...he has more blood flow!!

After rehabilitation, of course.

If Bernie has a couple of stents put in he’s probably dropping out no matter how it went down. Or should. The campaign is probably trying to check with big donors and get staff paid.

Angina doesn't equal heart attack. It's kind of irrelevant whether it was just angina or heart attack because the main issue is to deal with the blockage regardless. There's tons of politicians with all kinds of major health issues we just didn't know about. JFK, Bill Clinton...
