So you don’t give any weight to her claim she mistakenly thought she had entered her own home and thought there was an intruder?

I listened to some of the trial and her explanations for why she entered the apartment were inconsistent. Jury clearly agreed.

Not to mention the fact that neighbors saw her WATCH HIM WALK INTO HIS APARTMENT.

She’ll win on appeal or get a light sentence. That’s how the system works.

I don’t see how anyone can’t recognize their own apartment as soon as they enter it.

her police training worked against her. but it really came down to her essentially admitting murder while on the stand.

I hate to go there cuz it's over done these days, but it was her racism that worked against her. If it was a white or asian guy on the couch she wouldn't have been that scared.

If she wasn’t white but black, no one would’ve talked about IT at all.

The Texas Ranger that investigated this told the court he didn’t think she committed a crime. The judge didn’t let the jury heat his testimony.

Doesn’t mean it should be “murder”. Maybe manslaughter. Certainly, reckless endangerment.

An egregious crime, but for some reason all the usual white women who scream about police brutality were quiet. They couldn’t imagine someone like themselves being racist murderers, and so in their minds this case was simply a horrible accident. But a white man? Total racist.

Affirmative action hire. Entirely predictable outcome. I've met, and even served with, some excellent female cops. However, most are absolute dog shit who panic or freeze in a crisis. They're a danger to their fellow cops and the general public.
