Right now Bernie is leading in 4 of the first five primary states with Biden leading one, if that holds it seems that Elizabeth Warren won’t have much of a chance and watching Biden try to catch up would be painful.

I see no poll with Bern ahead in Iowa or NH. He has no chance in South Carolina or in any other southern state primary.

Am progressive, have not been exposed to either of these takes. Skeptical that either is consensus.

Because the caucus is the least democratic mechanism for the aggregation of political will. Ironic.

I’d like to see political parties change their first primary States each election cycle to start in the States in which they either won or lost by less than 1% the previous Presidential cycle. I think it would serve as a great barometer.

Maybe it would be wiser to not do state by state races. How about 6 national run offs absentee ballot focused Ranked choice voting candidates need to get 1%, 1.5% 3%, 5%, 8% of votes to be on the next ballot. Last ballot's winner wins. We would have voted already once.

The problem is Bernie winning Iowa and not the establishment/media actual choice, Warren.

Is it irony, or the fact that progressives don't actually represent or care about the views of black people?

Irony, one of the most progressive states is a neighbor of Iowa and is also "too white"....my, my, progressives sure like to generalize while masquerading as being inclusive

So progressives should stop complaining about Iowa and the white supremacists they elect like Steve King, and embrace white supremacists because it helps get rid of Biden? Hot take...
