His rhetoric on this is also dangerous, uneducated and infuriating to many Americans. He’s threatening to take peoples rights and property without clear reason why other than “guns are bad.” The fact that so many Democrats rally behind this type of message is what scares many.

The fact that they rally behind any of these talking heads who just spew platitudes is scary. I have not heard one genuine comment the entire time. With the exception of Biden. He seems like he's genuinely answering for the most part. The others are just robots.

Yeah millions of Americans were against racism and segregation in the first half of the 20th century but they still managed to do it. Just because something is unpopular with a minority doesn't mean it can't happen, politically.
-
A big part of how segregation ended is that the public couldn't stomach the brutality needed to enforce it. That's also a major reason why the War on Drugs is all but lost. Any sort of "war on guns" would result in the same thing.

The only thing democrats do when they talk about guns is increase turnout on the right.

He should try it himself, be the tip of the spear. See how he likes being down range.

No reporters managed to catch the name of the guy at the gun show saying he'd give up his guns if Beto asked.

Understood. Only your most insincere trolls could have tortured that statement into a declaration of Civil War. But believe me: they WILL.

I agree - the people who want to own these types of weapons are prone to violence - which is exactly why they shouldn't have them.

They need to also realize that such a matter may very well lead to a military coup. Don’t underestimate the fact a good portion of military members would turn on the Government.

Gun confiscation or gun buybacks are both insane. Where would they get the funds to "buy back" the guns in the first place? Do they realize how many gun owners there are?

They can't get people in ultra-liberal states like Connecticut and New York to register their AR-15s, but they imagine they can just force people to give them up all cross the country. pfft.
