Bret Stephens just published a NYT column in which he likens being called a "bedbug" on Twitter to the political conditions of 1930s Germany. There is something seriously wrong with this guy

When you click on that link in the article, you can see that Bret Stephens just googled "Jews as bedbugs". It seems, he was desperately searching for anything to make it an anti-Semitic story. pic.twitter.com/cuzlqdaTyL

And afterwards, he/they stealth edited it to clear the search terms. Here's the first version which has the link with the terms in the url: http://archive.is/uSeJh  No shame. Pathetic beyond belief.

The hundred year old experiment in which we jettisoned rhetoric from the core curriculum and included psychology and other social sciences has not been especially fruitful.

Aside from everything else absurd about his reaction, he wasn't just called a "bedbug" out of nowhere, but as a riff on the recent bedbug problem at the NYT offices.
