    Michael Tracey Retweeted MonmouthPoll

The fact that they even released this statement suggests 1) People are way too invested in individual poll results 2) Pollsters are way too invested in how the public reacts to those results 3) These early primary news cycles are a total messhttps://twitter.com/MonmouthPoll/status/1166729267457265665 …

We need to stop investing so much in polls of a few hundred to a thousand people, and stop thinking they represent the views of *millions*. It's ridiculous.

We should do a poll on the pollsters, then drop the weakest ones (kinda like what they’re doing at the Dem debates).

or they could have done the simple thing: collected more responses- you know >>290 - to lower their margin of error.

I can’t believe we’re freaking out over poll numbers with 20 candidates in the race. Wake me up when it’s down to three

Once every 24 months they try to do polls correctly so as to not look bad. The other 23 months polls are created to say what their creator wants it to say, the intent being to move public opinion not reflect what it is. Ignore all polls until Oct 2020.
