With yrs under my belt as one of the ones dialing (not literally...computer program does that part) & polling, the greatest change I've seen over time is MORE invalid numbers & fewer & fewer ppl taking the call.

Even 20 yrs ago my experience was that retired, older ppl were the most willing to do surveys. Nowadays between the use of robo call zapping apps & ppl who don't answer unknown numbers I think the poll participants are a select group.

Word is apparently getting out that Biden's faculties ain't what they used to be.

Personally I’ve never disputed the aggregate as being reflective. Which is why when you tweeted about this a week or so back I’d conmented that Biden is ahead 11-14% but that it was a significant drop in his former 25%+ lead. Polls aren’t perfect but r our best indication

The methodology can be sketchy, but the real problem is how the polls are covered. The media highlights polls he's down in and not the ones he does well to create a false narrative.

Do they just randomly call 298 people ? Do they call same people every time to check whether they change their mind or not ?

Tho Sanders did well, I still think that Monmouth’s polls should be taken with an asterisk... their Iowa poll that showed Sanders in 4th place took from a raw sample of 72% of people 50 and above. It IS important to look at who they are polling to figure out where we’re at...

You gotta look at the crowds attending the rallies. Warren and Sanders have the biggest crowds.

Yes a sample size of 300 people choosing between 20 candidates is potentially incredibly accurate

since when does sample size = methodology? It's one factor of many. seems to me you are over-simplifying the complaints against some of the polling.

Bad call... Ultimately just because one poll is favoring Bernie, doesn’t mean that everyone should be silent about polls, especially given the issues surrounding polling and selective access... You are telling Bernie supporters that they should not defend others being suppressed.

Polls are propaganda tools that they use to control voters. Trusting them is absolute idiocy.

An error of 6% is shockingly high to be fair.

Why shouldn't we call out polls that are specifically rigged to give a result that favors certain candidates over others?

Just because the candidate we prefer is winning doesn't mean the poll is good. Bernie and his supporters need to keep the same cynical energy we have for MSM bias for BS polls with over a 5% margin of error
