Its antagonism is mostly for the wrong reasons: they think Trump’s reckless and incompetent system management has destroyed the conservative, establishmentarian consensus behind a permanently expansionist foreign policy and a well-managed neoliberal capitalism.
I read siloed as soiled.
Once, I described how I'd noticed NPR's historically subtle bias had been rearing its head more since 2016 (I've listened to NPR for ten years at this point). Several responded that NPR was *actually favorable to,* or *not hard enough on,* Trump (and GOP broadly).
The only problem is the "Gell-Mann amnesia effect". How are we sure the other sections aren't thrash but our unfamiliarity with a given subject makes spotting the errors and biases dificult.
The NYT has been as fair to Trump as CNN
The internet and social media's filter bubbles are a big part of the polarization/categorization that is isolating people... which is not helping the mental health problems that society is facing.

“Our candidates can’t rely on the media to push our narrative anymore” @jonfavs incredulously

NYT Russiagate coverage is Judy Miller redux
“conventional wisdom among younger staffers”?. Is it true or just a pretext?
the NYT does have antagonism to Trump but it's a fake antagonism: trying to oppose Trump without opposing Trumpism. The whole point of the Russiagate farce was essentially to outflank the Republicans on the right: by portraying Trump as a Soviet, sorry, Russian agent.
It is really insane. They've all lost their minds at the @nytimes
You mean that correct fact about the Trump-coddling NYT.
