The research doesn't support any link between violent video games and violent actions in real life. Otherwise Japan would be a smoldering crater on the edge of the Pacific.
-
Korea ffs. They literally have what everyone seems to think are the best gamers in the world.

How dumb. "It's the video games!" Bullcrap! These politicians need to look at a ton of studies showing that there is no link!
-
The real cause of these young men doing these horrific acts are things like mental illness, and/or alienation, social isolation, stuff like that. Lastly, some of them are just evil bastards who get off doing this crap, let's be honest and look at the truth straight.

The House passed HR8, a Bipartisan Background Checks Act, *5 months ago* and the Senate has yet to vote on it.

He's suggesting regulating people's access to ideas. Having a "subtle effect" isn't an excuse to regulate any speech, main proposal, side proposal or whatever. If there are corporate donations to be had, Call of Duty will survive; it's the indie devs GOP will gladly crush.

If Games are on the table, then Movies should be also. How many people will Dwyane "The Rock" Johnson kill in the new Fast & Furious?
-
Let’s just take it all. See how many more people go crazy and start killing people cuz there’s nothing to do.
