One "gun control" measure that has no Second Amendment implications would be to curb the ability of US corporations to flood foreign markets with deadly weaponry, especially considering these weapons frequently end up in the possession of Salafi militiashttps://www.cnn.com/interactive/2019/02/middleeast/yemen-lost-us-arms/ …

I've long found it odd that "gun control" advocates pay relatively little attention to US corporations that export these "military-style" guns abroad for profit, and have successfully lobbied the federal government to bolster their commercial interests https://www.armscontrol.org/blog/2019-03-26/abramson-testimony-proposed-small-arms-transfers#_edn11 …

I put together a performance bond program for a US gun manufacturer to provide a billion dollars+ of arms to a Middle East “ally”. I went out of my way to check with ANYONE in a regulatory capacity to see if they were cool with it. They all were. I wasn’t and backed out.

Why would I pay attention to the corporation just doing corporation things? Look at the government that is allowing our enemies to get arms despite having a defense budget larger than any 12 countries combined.

If it’s about further State Control over it’s citizenry, then there’s no concern about selling to foreign markets (at least outside Canada/Mexico).

Very easy: whether it’s the left or the right, neocons control both. Foreign policies are written by neocons. Their war propaganda is spewed on us 24/7. And they get the big corporations to fund their BS. Neocons = military industrial complex = non-US interest=taxpayers gipped

They can't do it without the government. It's a government problem, not a corporation one. Corporations can't wage and declare war.

And that's part of the multi-factor solution that I just mentioned. For all her errors, Williamson deserves note among the candidates for her advocacy of a political culture based on non-violence; and Sanders for plan to give that culture's body the teeth of defunding the MIC.

They are sports rifles, most forms of gun control are unconstitutional. But more importantly most gun violence is spree attacks like this, they are gang related using pistols. Look Baltimore, Chicago and DC gun control didn't work. Because the cause most gun crime is economic

I find it odd that "gun control advocates" think microwave weapons don't exist when the manufacturers post all of their successes on the internet. There is even instructions how to build your own microwave weapons. Its a silent threat being ignored because they test on innocents.
