I could see Bernie drawing a subtle contrast on Warren’s war budget vote for Trump If he would be planning on doing this, he wouldn’t want to reveal that ahead of time. That’s just strategy.
We’re not really at the point where we need to be drawing contrasts between Warren and Bernie. We need to be drawing contrasts between them and the 38 centrists on stage with them.
I can't blame him though. The amount of vicious attacks that he gets even for mildly criticizing a fellow democratic candidate (especially a female one) is tremendous, and it's not the attacks, but the narrative that is then built around him as some grumpy mysoginist
Hmm, don’t worry. We know the differences
The only difference is that @BernieSanders never expects his socialist slogans be turned into reality, just like he never expected to beat @HillaryClinton. He enjoys shouting and taking young folks for a joy ride. @SenWarren actually and naively tries to actualize those slogans
Bernie also isn't all that interested in winning, so...
The point of 2-year long primaries is more than drawing distinctions. Perhaps the most important thing has become starting conversations on previously suppressed and "controversial" issues. Distinctions will be made at later stage. Patience.
She did him no favors in 15'-16'
Sanders / Warren 2020
When Michael Tracey doesn't understand "timing".
distinctions later. for now, we don't want progressive candidates knocking each other out so we're left with biden/harris.
It’s tricky. I’m sure he’s thought about it, but the centrist identity politicians in the party will immediately smear him as an angry old white male/sexist.
Talk to me when Biden's in third place. Until then, the two of them being united makes them both look good and we need to be willing to back her over Biden if Bernie winds up dropping out.
Him owning 4 mansions while wanting to turn America into a socialist country is a disservice to voters.
Not yet. Winnow the field first.
Correct, Bernie doesn't want to attack his opponents, he wants to scam his followers like last time and hand their money to Kamala.
