Bernie was asked today about a comment he made on federal busing policy **45 years ago** The only reason journalists keep bringing up this obsolete issue is because they want to generate "buzz" and latch onto a juicy media narrative -- it's extremely pathetic

And Bernie hit back showing the quote wasn't the full quote and got the corporate stooge to admit Bernie was right.

Are they pandering to the "woke" crowd/readers/viewers who who are blinded by their over confidence and arrogance about our elders (as if they won't look back when they reach maturity and have regrets) It is extremely pathetic how journalism has become one big marketing project

It's pretty amazing though that he still remembers the full quote and/or context...

I’m sure you will agre Biden’s views on busing 30 years ago are also irrelevant

When will they turn to old positions on same-sex marriage? Many dems have a long trail there that is out of step with current thinking.

The point is that whatever narrative they tried to create to make him look bad was an epic FAIL because it was based on an incomplete quote.

I think what Bernie said 45 years ago on busing IS relevant because it proves he’s always been consistent and proves the media will cherry pick fractions of quotes to make him look bad.

I think they also bring things up because they see a lot of hypocrisy and want to force a candidate to speak to his/her inconsistency as times change.

Part of how they want to use Biden’s negative / age to knock Sanders out.

They latch onto this shit from 40 years ago with Biden and Kavanaugh and anyone else they dont like but when we point out the flip flop on the left it "doesnt matter because opinions change"
