I agree there are problems with speech regulation on social media but I’m unclear why people who successfully use social media to amplify their speech are the correct messengers for these grievances

If we’re going to nitpick, mine is that more (or any) Left-leaning individuals should have been invited. At least reasonable, Pro-Speech types such as yourself. We know that people across the political spectrum have been deplatformed, demonetized, & so forth. Needed to represent.
-
True. I expected most attendees to be right leaning, those are the people most censored on social media. A few more from the left would have made the summit more fruitful. Tim Pool was there. Sargon definitely should have been there.

They succeeded despite unfair treatment. Their success (without regard to what it might have been) doesn’t render moot the grievance they have about tilted playing field. There’s a good discussion on this point in an admissions case in SCOTUS oral arguments

As social media has grown.they have gained a following, once noticed companies do things like shadow ban, outright ban or block, incorp algorithms that skew searches. Test it: Google Epstein-Clinton & you get more pics of Trump, biased Wikipedia, Snopes get top billing, etc

That they’re potentially going to earn less money I would imagine. But I know what you’re saying, it’s like getting Laura Loomer to host a free speech rally (oh what, that actually happened)
