Ross Perot was very committed to "traditional values" -- he imposed a "moral code" on his employees, prohibited adultery, mandated modest dress, etc. -- which might explain why he never said anything positive about Trump despite nominal similarities in their policy agenda

Had he won, and I think before he dropped out he had a shot, he would have changed the 2 party system forever. I think he may have had the guts to actually change things for the better.
