Ross Perot was very committed to "traditional values" -- he imposed a "moral code" on his employees, prohibited adultery, mandated modest dress, etc. -- which might explain why he never said anything positive about Trump despite nominal similarities in their policy agenda

In 1998, Perot told Larry King that Clinton was unfit for the presidency due to his adultery. Perot was giving interviews as late as 2016 but conspicuously never praised Trump, despite frequent media depictions of Perot as the "proto-Trump"pic.twitter.com/0G27rD9asl

Boy was Perot right on NAFTA. Voted for him in 92, wish he had won.

Ross Perot was also a major Planned Parenthood contributor, and resolutely pro-choice. The billionaire class in America has always been loyally pro-abortion.

Most notably, he forbade employee facial hair. But when he hired Ed Rollins (Reagan's campaign chair) to co-run his campaign... and Rollins refused to shave, Perot used Rollins' beard as PROOF to deny he forced employees to be clean shaven.

Knew plenty of former employees of Perot (EDS) that had to leave the company in order to go public with their romantic relationships. All of 'em, now married. He was certainly old school.

I was approached by an employment agency to interview with EDS in the late 70’s. Had to pass because I was looking for a new place to live and couldn’t attend training in Dallas. I heard all the stories but have to say they provided excellent training.

It's cute that you think Trump has a "policy agenda."

It was a reaction to the decadent sixties of which he was not part of, being from a different, more modest era

Perot was self made, right? Trump inherited his wealth.

Rare to find a man of such high moral caliber. May he rest in peace.
