One of those times I mostly agree with PredictIt, other than some internet faves like Yang and Gabbard being too high.pic.twitter.com/H03LFZAo9K

I suspect that progressives and the media are likely to underrate Biden all the way to the DEM nomination.
If you remember the 2012 GOP primaries, several popular faves (Herman Cain, Newt Gingrich) went through short spikes of favor before the voters reluctantly settled for the “most electable” candidate, Mitt Romney. Something similar could happen in this cycle’s Dem primaries.
Just Accept it. Harris did well. She also raised her hand to end private insurance, Yang didn’t do that!
Its all a matter of opinion. I cringed at her "food fight" line and her busing question only worked because Biden couldn't handle a layup. She was solid but the media hype is disproportionate to her performance imo.
I went to her announcement rally. Almost no media buzz coming into it and the speech seemed a well-organized agenda (or call it a kitchen sink), what her basic themes & gotta-sell-it challenges were, not zingers. I woulda said the media pushed a “nagging questions” take, not ZOMG
That’s exactly how someone becomes the nominee
She's also a "voter fave," even managing to win over my 70-something parents in Central PA with her rare combination of toughness, compassion and ability to cut through the clutter. And don't dismiss the lasting power of zingers in an election.
The food fight line was cringey.
I sort of agree. I don’t think she does as well in a more traditional interview format.
Election betting...now i've seen it all...
Warren/Harris ticket would be a novelty and might be formidable.
Bro, I know you're smarter than all of us plebes and ignoramuses, but can you come down from your mind palace for a sec and explain why factors like charisma, "zinger-rattling", debating skills, etc. are actually irrelevant to a candidate's chances in the general election?
She's going to grate on some people, not to speak of the fact that she would galvanize Trump's base like you can't believe. I don't believe what some have suggested based on poll results. We all know that if it's Harris against an incumbent Trump, he's going to win again.
Cheesiest line of the night "They don't want a food fight, they want us to put food on the table." Did I miss your record growing soybeans?
Rehearsed zingers.
Yes when has the media’s favorite candidate ever been successful
