John Lewis and Jim Clyburn aren't infallible but it's kind of amazing how their perspective on Biden's "segregationist" comments is almost totally written out of the online media narrative, fueled by activists and journalists who dislike Biden and want to undermine his candidacy

Because everybody is so guilty of massive insincerity about financial matters that it just about doesn't bear mentioning. Nobody likes their boss but they have to pretend in order to keep their jobs.

True enough. There doesn't need to be a pro-segregationist narrative to undermine Biden, he does a good enough job of that by opening his mouth.

Because one fans fear. Fear gets you media coverage and a smeared opponent. Talking about how mainstream he'd be world force them to talk about actual policy. Policy isn't important any more.

Biden is Trump with a slightly less offensive Twitter feed. They are ideologically the same, and they both are for the wealthy only!

They both suck. The biggest problem I have wroth the segregationist issue was that he worked with them to push their issue of being anti busing. He didn't work with them to compromise. He was pushing the racist agenda.
