There doesn’t appear to be a single person in the online media world who favors Biden becoming the Democratic nominee. Does anyone see how that might distort coverage of his “gaffes,” as well as the race more broadly?

I don't care about his gaffes. I care about a candidate who makes a real attempt at bridging the political and cultural divide. Biden has never truly done that. Same with Sanders and Warren. Biden may have a chance to win, but @AndrewYang has a better one.

I know many republicans here in Texas that really like Bernie they just don’t like his policies. Because honestly they’ve been convinced to vote against their interests. So no, your worries don’t apply to Bernie.

My theory is Biden is the corporate Dems new "pied piper" candidate to scare people toward a corporatist, and Warren is their new Clinton.

It's hard to sort through the various layers of bias to arrive at some confident vision of its final electoral impact. But the fact that he can't find *one* defender suggests Biden's real appeal doesn't extend beyond the "Blue No Matter Who" dead-enders.

But Michael, the things he says are absurd and constant. There's a disconnect with him. And he's been getting away with it for so long he has no mechanism for stopping. If he were held accountable in the past he would have learned by now. Also, he's really OLD. What do you expect

Perhaps, but bias is inherent in media, including your own. If I want to hear about handsy Joe, I'll search out coverage of him. Until then, it is more indicative of his lack of popular support, which I'm enjoying with glee.

Is it possible that the increased attention is due to a right wing strategy to boost biden as the nominee, because they feel they could beat him?
