Trump reportedly not being told about US attacks on the Russian power grid. Disturbingly, the “Cyber Command” been granted such autonomy that they can simply bypass presidential approval and escalate these Cold War 2.0 tactics entirely on their own https://www.nytimes.com/2019/06/15/us/politics/trump-cyber-russia-grid.html …pic.twitter.com/clONofe4JZ

Sounds much worse than an autonomy issue. Their alleged intel sources claim to be withholding info on attacks from the C-in-C because they think he won't like it or might inform "the enemy" These are outrageous claims, really. Treason between the lines. Helsinki-esque.

So we have now confirmation, albeit from MSM, that there is in fact an organized rogue element within the US govt apparatus that sees fit to conceive and execute international provocations independent of official authorization or foreknowledge. This IS dangerous! VERY dangerous.

See, that story makes no sense, because it links "actions in cyberspace" directly to military activity, while casually admitting "yeah we did some military activity on russian soil against civilian targets, what of it". There's no way real officials would ever admit to that.

The Soviet Union was a real threat. Russia is not a friend but also not existential. Bernie of course thought Soviet Union so great he honeymooned there

Sounds like the entire military core needs to be outright dismantled, just like the political core ("the swamp") does.

If this is true, then we no longer have a government functioning as intended under the US constitution.

Trump is surrounded by hawkish figures that tell him that he looks tough for doing this and that, otherwise he's completely oblivious to what goes on.

Government is (substantial) bigger than you know. If anyone thinks a president(government or business) knows every single thing going on in their admin, there would be no time to get anything of substance done.

Talk about a shadow government. First of all it should have to be approved by Congress and the president. Insane
