I will be having a debate with @nikoCSFB about Tulsi’s anti war credentials and the consistency of her anti war platform and rhetoric at 3pm pst today. Will post a link once I have one.

You would actually be incorrect about this Michael, I had many more similar quotes in my back pocket from Kucinich and Paul about the war on terrorism from the Obama era and beyond. It wasn’t just stuff they said because they were running under W or specifically from that era

After the experience of Libya, Syria, Venezuela, Iran, Yemen, etc. it makes sense to frame the current warfare paradigm in terms of "regime change" rather than "War on Terror," the latter not even being something that Trump really ever invokes. Under Bush, different story.
-
It seems like you’re referring to the phrase ‘war on terror’ itself instead of the net effect and systematic framework as well as cultural impact of what the war on terror is. I’m not referring to the phrase, Trump hasn’t evoked the phrase hardly at all.

That's right. Tulsi did not endorse war on terror. She repeatedly mentions "regime change wars" because that's been the dominant paradigm.
-
I’m not sure how anyone could conceivably say that ‘regime change’ is the dominant paradigm after a 3 year+ bombing campaign and in some cases ground war against ISIS and other groups in Syria, not to mention the drastic increase in targeted drone strikes by the Trump admin
