The House Judiciary Committee will wheel in John Dean, who was last relevant in 1974, but they refuse to subpoena Robert Mueller -- who wrote the Report that forms the basis for their impeachment demands. Very strange

Seems like they don't want the Republicans to be able to question Mueller.

I love how they keep unearthing these fossils to add some kind of weird historical credibility to their Watergate reenactment fantasies. Until recently I was seriously under the impression that Woodward and Bernstein had passed away a few years back.

I'm still struggling to figure out what was the point of even bringing this guy in? He knows nothing to shed any light on any information that would be relevant to what they claim they want to investigate. So instead I just get to see my tax dollars pretty much thrown in a fire

I agree with your take except that Dean's books since he left Gov't have been very useful. Not really irrelevant.

Mueller, Comey, Brennan, Clapper, Asra Turk will never be on Hill testifying under oath before a Democrat controlled House. Far too much risk.

Nothing strange about it. The Republicans on the committee might tear Mueller to shreds and expose the bias in the report by talking about what is left out. That does not meet their agenda.

Republicans always failing to take the initiative, as usual. They should force a vote on subpoenaing Mueller and force the Dems to vote no on such a motion to show what a transparent farce the Judiciary Committee has become.

Democrats have no interest in bringing in Mueller because Republicans would get to question him too. They're skerrrrrrred. Nadler is a clown.

It's not strange when the report was skewed to make Trump look guilty by omitting exculpatory evidence. He doesn't want to answer those questions. And the Dems definitely don't want him to either. Duh.

Mueller probably won’t be subpoenaed bc Dems fear that Republicans will make him look bad.
