Do you think in the terror attacks 9/11, Boston, Charlie Hebdo, Bataclan & Christchurch the governments of the populace attacked were complicit, at least, with the terrorists? More Information:⬇️⬇️ (Sharing is caring also for a more representative sample - thank you!)

It's been amplified in recent years by the birth of social media. But keeping the "rabble" fighting each other so they don't unify and challenge those in power is an age old trick. I'd go as far to say the invention of the "left and right" is just one more example.

If you read a little over the quote, you realize he likely satirized a myopic focus on one tactic of the body politic, which is, in total, intended to dampen out the shrill nature of the argument with "polite" language, IFW, and get to the heart of the argument in that manner.

So if you're trying to see which of your audience has the literacy to see the irony of most "quotable quotes", this is a good test. I usually respond to "quoters" the same way... I bite back with, "I don't quote others, they quote me!" Then I smile at 'em with these busted teeth.
