Again, this is an example of the way the Dems' institutional bias cripples them in general elections. Sanders is looking beyond to the general election. He just seems really weak and indecisive because he knows he has to make some really stupid concessions for primary success.

IMO, Warren is an imbecile. She thinks she can game the system by loudly adopting primary positions she knows have no practical chance of success outside the narrow range of partisan groupthink. She's Hillary 3.0, not much more.

Trump can only hope Warren makes it out of the Dem primary and runs into the general election screaming impeachment.

It’s because his super far left base likes Russia deep down and doesn’t believe the boomer red scare demonization campaign against socialism boogie men.

I mean, if you ignore the whole breakfast club interview. But hey, what's credibility when you can say "impeach trump"

Maybe, but it seems simpler that she's just a younger more dynamic version of Bernie. Also, she's not an actual socialist which makes her much more electable.

It also gives Warren credibility as someone who can make a decision on a tough situation quickly and with gumption. Makes her look presidential.

Was getting interested until I reached your view of "rudderless" as the assessment. It should be clear by now. If it isnt then you're making the mistake of comparing common candidates to a revolution.

Warren actually dropped 1% in the latest CNN poll while Bernie was +3% from last month.

I think we're going to see diminishing returns from that strategy. The stage seems set for a proper dark horse. Or at least, that's my intuition.

Basis for the judgment that Warren is gaining momentum and Bernie stagnating? If we're relying strictly on polls and media coverage, I have to be skeptical. I'd need to see some other indications, like significant increase in energy and numbers at rallies.

i think 'IMPEACH' is a substantive blunder but istrategically helping her i hope every day for news Biden is gone, but if Biden goes Bernie will need to do direct combat with Warren, and it will be tricky to avoid getting accused of sexism while she gets free shots at him.

"Seems" rudderless? I'm not sure that Bernie has any definitive positions when he gets out of the "commie zone", which includes a lot of free things for everyone. Ask him about abstract concerns, ones that can't be placated with "free stuff", and see how he responds.
