I despise the conformist, faux-subversive, group-thinking mentality of these sorry little people, and have zero desire for their validation. If they hate me for whatever reason, good

Your whinging about being bullied would be a lot more coherent if you hadn’t spent a good portion of last evening directing your followers to harass another journalist

What are you talking about? I'm not whinging about being "bullied." I'm objecting to a professional adult journalist blatantly fabricating defamatory claims about my employment history. You think that's just... fine? Please explain? And what "harassment" did I "direct"?

Yesterday you pointed your followers at a journalist who’s been harassed repeatedly on this site by QTing her and screenshotting her.

I don't even know who or what you're referring to. I didn't "point my followers" at anyone or "direct" harassment. You're ascribing intentionality that doesn't exist. Twitter is an open platform and I'm allowed to comment critically on the conduct of journalists

I refuse to believe you're a stupid person and someone who doesn't understand that a not insubstantial amount of your followers come from the extreme right. You're certainly welcome to do whatever you want, but let's not pretend you're posting in a vacuum.

Yeah, I like to think I'm not a stupid person, which is why I'll never accept the stupid logic that anyone is responsible for what random people over whom they have no control do online. Just never going to accept that nonsensical bullshit, sorry.

No, but you do have responsibility over what you choose to do online. And in this case, you decided to take an action that could add to harassment of someone. Sure, you aren't *making* anyone do it, but you're providing an avenue for those followers you have to target this person

You haven't even specified what you're referring to. Virtually any action one could take on this website could theoretically contribute to "harassment" in some form. Not a workable standard. BTW, what's your position on Tom McKay fabricating claims about my employment history?

I'm referring to your posts about the journalist whose class at NYU was canceled. Re your other question, now that I have you on the line, did you ask Dershowitz about Epstein in your chat yesterday?

Oh please, I wasn't directing "harassment" at anyone. I was linking to a news article. Do you think Tom McKay of Gizmodo should take "responsibility" for fabricating defamatory, provably false claims about my employment history? Or is that now acceptable conduct for journalists?

No, you linked to a news—and that word's doing a lot more work than it really can here—story and then followed up on it with screenshots which, intended or not, provoked your right wing fans.

Because the person in question, a professional journalist who had been hired by a prominent university and posts her views online, had issued a series of demented tweets that I found amusing. What's your answer to the question about Tom McKay?
