It's not odd at all; it's that the Trump administration is so unscrupulous and has proven itself so tone-deaf when dealing with allies, that experts in intelligence are worried about sources and methods being exposed willy-nilly. Why do you pretend not to know this?

Because this is personal for Michael. It’s completely obvious his butthurt is a result of not receiving the respect he believes he deserves from his peers. This is why he’s become a tool for Fox News, but works to position it as being a voice of reason speaking to that audience.
