        Fascism clearly exists to some extent but the over-reliance on hyperbolic, hysterical language has fostered laziness and stultification. A useful exercise is to try to describe phenomena you regard as potentially "fascist" without using the term; it obscures more than it reveals

        I cry. People with functioning smartphones in their pockets can't look up these terms. I don't know if I'd use those words, but people have been in a nervous funk, that's for sure. They can handle anything but conflict. They like to be sure about things and it seems they can't.
