Chris Hayes welcomed his NBC colleague John Brennan back on the show last night, and Brennan fumed that it was "outrageous" for Trump to declassify material related to the CIA's involvement in the 2016 election. Gee, I can't imagine why the former CIA Director would feel that way

Brennan parrots the Democratic talking point that Trump is endangering national security by releasing this information. That's ALWAYS what "nat sec" officials say when they want to keep damning information repressed. Blanket appeals to "putting lives at risk." It's complete BS

So Trump is simultaneously engaged in a "cover up" and releasing too much information. Makes perfect sense

They never tell us how revealing sources and methods puts people in danger. Ludicrous in this case as we already know what methods were used and we can black out the sources.

"We Must Keep Secrets" was a short I read in grade school, then was told I couldn't report on it. I guess someone missed it on one of the "sweeps". This is what having a long memory and seeing the news is like. Just now realizing why that happened is frightening.

I'll share "We Must Keep Secrets", the once published and now deleted from history short story. It's from memory, and it's a pretty good memory. On my FB page in day, or later today. FREE!! this isn't spam, it's to satisfy curiosity, if any.

Makes perfect sense? Maybe if one is a Russian asset. And willing to compromise one’s country as this president obviously is. He’s the self proclaimed president of his base, with a lifetime of compromised integrity on display to ensure the doubt of many, if not most, Americans.
