It's so horrible that WikiLeaks published information showing that the US government deceived the public about the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq. Cleary we'd be better off if that information remained hidden, because those wars famously went extremely well

When HOW Assange got the information is more important than the truth of the information which proved men, women and children to this day are dieing or dead...We as a people have completely lost our way..

Information like that should not be classified or covered up in any way. The public needs to know.

Yes, better that public not get a look at the dark underbelly of counterinsurgency. Techno-porn terror from the skies, door-kicking terror at night. Interrogation dread. Just a pinch of Civic Affairs & NGO hearts-and-minds projects to sanitize the stench.https://twitter.com/mtracey/status/1131738876425506816?s=19 …

One of the EDVA attorneys who announced the indictments against Assange today - John C Demers - was formerly assistant general counsel at Boeing. Explains a lot.

It's also terrible WikiLeaks beat the Russian memes by telling the US their democracy had actually been subverted from within.

Biden secretly lobbied Iraq for criminal immunity for US troops, a prerequisite for PERMANENT bases. However, Joe’s lobbying failed because Iraqis had just seen from Wikileaks Iraqi civilians murdered by US troops. Destroying Assange is revenge for losing the war (no bases).

Those wars were a disaster! I find it odd when the Mueller report came out, they drug JA out of the embassy within a day or two. Now we have Declass in same day as JA gets more indictments. Are we in a Matrix? What are the odds?

Not a problem that they were published. Believe the problem is that they actively helped Manning to illegally obtain the info? If Manning simply dumped the data in Wikileaks’ laps, that’s fine by me.
