Monmouth poll shows Biden up 6% since April. Dismissing his lead as purely "name recognition" would be foolish at this point. Everyone knew who he was in April as well. (Bernie also has near-universal name recognition, and has dropped 10% since March) https://www.monmouth.edu/polling-institute/documents/monmouthpoll_us_052319.pdf/ …pic.twitter.com/5ItQlSm6Ld

Worst case scenario for Bernie is that he has too low a "ceiling" -- which is potentially fine in a crowded field if the ceiling is 30%. But 15% won't work. It's possible that Bernie also benefited from "name recognition" as well: i.e., people who like him but aren't ideological

Bernie and Warren are cannibalizing each others' support. If both stay in, both lose.

Worst case scenario for Bernie is people look into his economic policy prescriptions and how they’ve worked throughout history.

You only get one shot at being President. Bernie had his in 2016 and was tricked out of it by the DNC.

If Biden's past is any indication the more he talks the more he will stick his foot in his mouth and his numbers will drop. Goodness I hope the nominee isn't Biden.

I think Bernie has hit his floor at ~15% (20% in other recent polls) with this crowded field Bernie only needs ~30% to have a chance to win (very realistic for him)

Biden has a habit of falling apart once his campaign gets started. Maybe this time will be different. In any case, he's the same guy as Trump, only a worse candidate. If he gets the nomination he'll lose to Trump but it won't make a difference.
